Psalmist Vol. 4 > Legacy

In Deuteronomy 6:6-7, the Lord spoke to Israel, saying, “These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Whatever God has imparted to us, we have a responsibility to impart to our children. Asaph, Heman and Jeduthun ministered in the Tabernacle of David before the Lord with their sons. The gifting in them had been imparted to their children.

God has blessed Jack and I with several sons and daughters, two of whom are our natural children, the others being our spiritual children. As I have endeavored to impart into their lives those things given to me by the Lord, I have seen the gifting and anointing in them enhanced and multiplied. It delights me to see them soaring with God, knowing that they will go higher than I ever will, but also knowing that I have a part in every victory, every triumph, every soul saved, every purpose fulfilled in their lives, because I was willing to share my life with them.

This fourth volume in the Psalmist Series contains not only songs that I have written, but also songs by some of my children. My prayer is that as you see what God has done in our family, you will be stirred to teach your children those things God has placed in you.
